entered an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at the prestigious
Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He successfully completed
this residency in 1968. Dr. Duncan then entered private Oral & Maxillofacial
Surgical practice in San Antonio, Texas and has practiced continuously since
that time.
Among Dr. Duncan's many awards, he has been chosen for membership in
the prestigious American College of Dentists and the International
College of Dentists. This is recognition for a life long commitment to
excellence to the art and science of Dentistry.
Dr. Duncan is an extremely sought after international lecturer and has a
devotion to the expansion of knowledge related to dental implant technology
and science. He has published many articles on the subject and is a
recognized expert in the field of Implant dentistry. He is a Associate Clinical
Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio
and has taught part time at the university for sometime. Dr. Duncan also
enjoys golf, reading, painting, sculpting, and especially spending time with
his wife Catherine, children and grandchildren.

James M. Duncan, D.D.S. (Retired)
Dr. Duncan is a native Texan but graduated from
Oklahoma City University and immediately entered the
Navy Flight program at Pensacola, Fla., completing his
advanced training in Kingsville, Texas. He then spent
the next four years as a United States Navy carrier pilot.
After his release from the Navy, Dr. Duncan attended
